Hi,
Has anyone tried Topamax for their racing thoughts that contribute to their anxiety/panic attacks? i ask because i have been on it for one week, and am wondering----good or bad----anyone has experienced on this med in terms of relief for anxiety? Thank you :) Kristen Posted on 05/17/08, 12:05 am |

Tried it for 3-4 days, felt like I was drunk all the time. Told the doctor it wasn't the med for me. It did nothing for my anxiety, good or bad. I just did not like feeling like I had a couple of drinks in me all the time.
Its nickname is Dopamax.

Haven't tried it. But different meds work for some and not others. I found that the meds that I have tried take at least 4 weeks to take effect and even then I needed to stay in contact with my Dr. so that we could figure out the right dose (kind of a hit and miss type of thing) Good luck with finding something that works for you :)
