I am currently on risperdol and ciprulex (sp?) and the ciprulex is doing nothing so I'm considering changing to prozac, anyone have any feed back on this?... I just know that the meds should be helping with the irrational thought patterns right?.. and they are definately not....

I was on risperdol and it did nothing for me, my son takes it for behavorial problems but he is ten and it works for him well. Maybe it's an age thing.
As for the prozac I was on it and loved it, it has been given a bad name because some people experience severe side effects from it, so I would be careful and do my research on this if prescribed to you. Amazing how the side effects sometimes outway what they are supposed to help control.

Prozac is an anti-depressant and won't help with thought patterns but will help with any feelings of depression you may be having. It sounds like you risperdol is not working. I would let you dr know everything that is going on and between the two of you, you will make the right changes.
