Most of us who have anxiety disorder have been to the hospital fearing a heart attack but the symptoms are so similar that a full cardiac work up is necessary to be sure of what exactly is going on. left arm numbness & tingling sounds like a heart issue.Your BP and heart rates were really low-usually with a panic attack they go way up not down like yours did. I wish u the best in dealing with this. Search on the internet for symptoms of MVP and DVT. maybe they will match what ur feeling. I hope you have some friends/family who can support you during this time.

Wendy MVP is mitral valve prolapse which usually is a benign heart condition. And I hve done so much searching on the internet I think I have scared myself to death. LOL. I do get to go to heart dr. on 28th. needless to say I can't wait. And as for friends and family. I do have some family that are with me all the way and my church family.I can talk to about anything. I am going through a tremendous amount of stress at this time which doesn't help. I think the shortness of breath is my worst symptom, feeling that you can't get a good breath is the worst. Thank you for your replies and hope all is well with you both.

Like someone else said, your BP and HR were really unusually low and I'd be very suprised if they discharged you from hospital if they were still that low. It's no wonder you are feeling weak and dizzy with vitals like that. Have you had a full medical work up done? How old are you, if you don't mind me asking. I don't know where you live, but here, as a patient, you have to be your own advocate and if they are discharging you from emerg with vitals that low, there is something wrong. You (or family/friends) have to ensure you are getting proper care and evaluation because often, no one else will. Best of luck to you. Let us know how things go.

Thank you mylady.Nursey4 I am 38 years old. I used to suffer bad anxiety attacks. And it does feel different this time. I was wondering why they discharged me to with my vitals being so low, I am on coumadim 10mg everyday. They gave me paxil but it onlu made everything worse. I have had a complete workup through cardio dr.s but that was years ago. That's when they told me I have MVP. But only slight case maybe it's worse. I don't know. I have an app. on 28th this month they couldn't get me in sooner. Our healthcare in the US is the worst. I just hope and pray that all this is panic attacks and not my heart. Sorry this is so long. If anyone would like to you can send me personal mail. If you have any thoughts or suggestions of what I really need to ask the dr. it would be appreciated very much. God bless you all.

I have been where you are before. I ended up in the hospital in october for the same symptoms and after I was released I had several severe panic attacks for weeks on end . Over the past few months I have good days and bad. I have anxiety attacks still some times they scare me into thinking something and is going to happen. But I try and cope. I dont have any ins either so I just deal with it the best I can. If you have had a full cardio work up and nothing showed up then its all part of the anxiety.... your not alone

just a added note..... when I went into the hospital my bood pressure was normal my breathing was very shallow and oxygen level was low when i left the hospital my BP went up to like 140 over 80 something it was high for a week or more but my cardialogist told me everything was stress related.... and to this day if i get really stressed out I still get the tingling in the chest and dizzy feeling like i am going to pass out... but still get it checked out to be sure its nothing serious

Wow, your bradycardia is not making sense with the other symptoms. Are you on a beta blocker? As far as MVP, you best stay away from aspartame and coffee. Other sypmtoms that mimic a heart attack are from a spasming esophagus, even the numbness in the left arm/shoulder. A similar nerve is involved.
