I know that, as an anxiety and panic attack sufferer, I look at things negatively. I was prescribed zoloft, and xanax to help until the zoloft kicks in. Of course I am needlessly worrying what affect the xanax will have. But I feel like I'm going crazy and i'm constantly on edge. I was prescribed a low dose as needed. I would like to hear from others who are on xanax, I guess a reassurance that I don't have to worry:)

Honestly, xanax saved my life last year when my life was falling apart. It enabled me to get back on my feet. This year I am doing much better and need it less and less. I do not want to become addicted to it so I make sure that I only use it when absolutely necessary.

I really appreciate everyone's advice:) I was prescribed .25 1 tablet 2x daily as needed. My doc told me to half one tonight to see its effect, but i am tired from no sleep last night i don't know if i'd feel the effect...

Be careful - don't go off Xanax without help
It is great for anxiety and can help but everyone is different and meds react different on everyone Good luck
