" anti depressant wise effexor xr worked the best for anxiety for me, although I am no longer on it and the withdrawls are terrible. xanax and valium worked wonderfully but I became seriously addicted to them and can not take them now because of it. "

" Zoloft worked wonders with clonopin for a time.
Lamictal and cymbalta also worked wonders for few years.
But was not fun to come off.
This is personally what helped me the most.
Some people have alot of good luck on Lexapro or Effexor XR for deppression and anxiety.
Good Luck To You And Hope You Feel Better Soon!
Hugs! "

" I have not been on any medication before. I have talked to a friend (that is in to "holistic" medicine and they had told me IF they ever needed to get help w/anxiety or depression they would request Dilantin. It is described as an anti-convulsant but, has shown to work with no major side effects (within an hour of usage). I am going to a councilor today to see if Dilantin will help me. "
