I just found out that one of my clients (who I have known for 15 years) has just been diagnosed with Liver Cancer. He has lost so much weight these last 3 weeks and looks very jaundice.

Lissy is one of the most inspirational people that I know...and I have never met her.
Several weeks ago a woman had contacted me in regards to donating her hair in order to have a custom wig made for a friend of hers. After learning that Lissy's friends wanted to help pay for the wig we set up the Lissy Fund at www.wigfund.com.

I work with wigs daily and it's become apparent that after 30+ yrs. in the industry there is just not enough help for people suffering from hair loss. Oh yes, there are websites that sell wigs but what do you do once you get it?

If my grandfather were alive today, he would've been 117 years old. He was a great guy. He died short of his 91st birthday 25 years ago. My other grandfather would be 115 on July 4th. They both died within 2 weeks of each other. My mother was in the hospital at that time and we almost lost her too. 1983 was not a good year for my family. Unfortunately...1 Comment -

My sweet husband bought me three dozen roses for our anniversary. We went into Chicago for the weekend and strolled the Magnificent Mile. Then we stopped at Morton's Steakhouse (awesome) for dinner. I found an article in my newspaper about the need for volunteers with the Meals on Wheels program at a hospital nearby. I want to do this alot, but not sure if my shyness and anxiety are going to get in my way again. It always takes me so long to get the nerve up to make a phone call.
