I don't care what program someone does I personally drank for 25 years and I can't imagine going to 3 sessions and knowing how to live sober. If you deal with your issues drunk, as your not really dealing with them and get sober you need AA and 12 step program. If this Lenair woman can help remove cravings good but she should not be knocking AA meetings or treatment centers. Obviously AA works it has been successful in helping alcoholics recover for 10's of years. How long will miss Lenair be around. There is no simple cure for alcoholism. There is no cure at all. I am offended by this advertisement.

I can deal with my issues, I just can't deal with alcohol.

Simple.

Now that I can deal with alcohol I really don't have many issues to deal with. Funny how that works out. =)

My reality is not the same as yours.

Rhonda does not knock anyone, or anything. Her heart and intentions are pure and come from a place of Divine Love. I assure you. Anything stated on the Lenair site http://lenair.com about AA is simply a statement about it, not a judgement. Rhonda has no judgement on anything. She works and understands Life on a level far different than you or I, or anyone I have ever met for that matter.

AA simply does not work for everyone, in fact, it works for few. A little research would reveal that to you. I'm not here to knock AA but AA is not a cure all. We all know that.

Rhonda Lenair is the founder of a non-profit organization called The Lenair Healing Foundation. Her intention is to find time to train and teach others her healing modality. It is my dream that she accomplish this. She is only 1 woman and there are a LOT of alcoholics in the World so... One day work like Rhonda does will be widely available and accepted. I'm convinced of that.

Upon arriving at the Lenair Healing Foundation you will be directed to the waiting room. The first thing that will probably catch your eye will be the many scrapbooks and albums lying around. These albums are stuffed full of papers, paintings, cards etc. from people who have been helped by Rhonda Lenair with one thing or another. Many of the letters come from people who were helped by Rhonda for alcoholism. It was wonderful to read of all these people who's lives were changed since seeing Rhonda. I had hope it might work for me after reading some of them. I was hopeless. People write to Rhonda and pour out their hearts and love to her for her help. Their lives are changed. They have their lives back, thier families, their jobs, their sanity. My letters are now among the thousands of others. I am honored to say that.

I will ALWAYS BE a soldier for Rhonda!

One of the letters I recall reading was from a woman who saw Rhonda for alcoholism. The woman stated that she really enjoyed going to AA meetings BUT she could not stop from slipping on the program. She felt really bad about disappointing her friends in AA by slipping and drinking. This particular woman found out about Rhonda Lenair in a magazine article and made an appointment. She had not drank since sending the letter nor craved alcohol. However, she felt she could never tell anyone in her AA meetings how she really quit drinking for fear of judgement and ridicule. According to her letter, she still goes to AA meetings and enjoys them for the fellowship, however she would never feel comfortable telling them the Truth. The Truth that Rhonda removed her craving for alcohol and AA filled her need for friendship and fellowship.

That's just sad, but I understood exactly what she meant. I have been exposed to alcoholism and AA since the day I was born and I have a few of my own opinions on the program. Doesn't matter. I love AA for helping my Mother get sober and being a program that worked for her. My Mother is happy I found a program that worked for me. I want to help someone find a program that will work for them.

I hate alcoholism.

If shaving your head and painting your toenails orange while you light sparklers up your butt gets you sober, then good on you! Timothy Treadwell played with grizzly bears. Who is anyone to say what is right or wrong for another? I AM happy when people get sober!!! That is all I want.

I also do not make recommendations for things I have not tried myself or multiple recommendations for the same thing. That seems a little "advertisey" to me.

I AM only one person here that has been helped by Rhonda Lenair for alcoholism but I know someday there will be more. Rhonda has helped over 30,000 people and one day another one of those people is bound to make it here. Hopefully someone whom is a more articulate writer than me. I doubt we will get together and gang up on you then.

This site is NOT an AA group. If it was, I would not BE here. I have respect. Daily Strength's Alcoholism group is a group for Alcoholism and those affected by it. AA and Alcohlism are not one in the same. Some of us aren't Powerless over alcohol we're EMPOWERED and full of POWER against it. That is my reality. I AM POWERLESS over NO THING!

P.S. I might as well mention my BONUS PRIZE since seeing Rhonda Lenair. I lost over 50 lbs since I saw Rhonda for alcoholism in Sep. 2005! I got pretty fat a few years into heavy drinking but I was in denial, and my vision was a little blurry so... I guess I didn't notice, or care. :| Anyway, I didn't put any effort into losing weight, it just happened and today I'm right where I belong weight wise. I look good! I feel good! I'm sober and I ALWAYS will BE, it's my choice now. I'm EMPOWERED! Yeehaw!

I'm with you, Mschif!! You taught me about Rhonda and I am saving the money to do it. It is very backward to only think of AA as a solution. Very dumb to tell others that there are no other solutions. You had a terrific experience and I will, too. I don't need what others have a need to preach. You're real. Thank you.

I also am a Rhonda Lenair success story--three days of treatment and I completely lost the urge to drink and use. However, I also ended up with a bad case of glaucoma, ingrown toenails, and a hunchback-like condition over my right shoulder. Would I do it again? You bet. After all, you don't ever have to worry about getting a DUI or going to jail just because you look like Quasimodo. Thanks Rhonda!

I am headed to Vermont tomorrow for my appointments with Rhonda next week. At the moment, I am enjoying a Vodka Tonic. I so appreciate having found this forum and no worries, MSCHIF, you are a GREAT writer! Will report back in a few days about my experience.

Hello again, I am back from Vermont where I had three sessions with Rhonda Lenair. Before my first session with Rhonda I was a daily, way too much drinker of many, MANY years, and in last year, gone down hill quite fast. Spent time in two detox facilities in recent months. I knew it was time for me to quit (even though I didn't really want to) but I knew AA would not work for me this time. My prayers were answered when I heard about Rhonda Lenair. Granted it's only been a week, but I have not had a drink since seeing Rhonda and do not crave at all. Additionally, I feel more at peace than I have in as long as I can remember. My boyfriend - also alcoholic - and I went together across country from California to see Rhonda in remote part of Vermont. He is experiencing the same miraculous healing. What a gift Rhonda Lenair is, in so many ways. Wish she could clone herself. Omigod. I will plan to keep posting here as time unfolds and I live day to day in my freedom from my lifelong obsession with alcohol. (By the way, Rhonda is way less expensive than a five-day detox).

I got to comment. I will be left with the rest of my life without alcohol in just three sessions? Is that what you are saying? I don't have to go to anymore AA meetings? What is the success rate of this wonderful program. Is it better than 90%? I don't know about this Rhonda chick. I do know AA works. It is a program of repetition for a reason. If we don;t change the person we are went we get sober that person will drink. That I know is a FACT. If I don;t CHANGE MY LIFE, I WILL DRINK AND I WILL DIE! FACT! I will not risk my sobriety or my life on this Rhonda program. I feel sorry for anyone who waste their time and money. But I won't stop you from doing it. If you come to me one year from now and tell me it works, than maybe it works. I haven;t heard of many successes with this program and with many other "miracle" programs.
