Hey everybody, my names Pat. 20 years old. Just was looking around and found this site. I went through a month of rehab for my severe drinking problem, and am proud to say that it is comming up 4 months sober. I wanna do something nice to reward myself, but havent thought of what to do yet. What have you guys done to reward your success?

" Welcome to our humble site. I have only been here for a couple of weeks. You will find a bunch of wonderful and loving people. What do you like to do for fun? I reward myself with a trip to the amusement park, or a walk in a nearby park, or a nice lobster dinner (who wants to join me?), or a trip to New Hampshire. Just treat yourself to something nice. I congradulate you upon 4 months sober. That's a long time to be sober, isn't it? Man, 4 months, 120 days. I can remember trying to make it 4 hours. Couldn't do it until I surrendered. Now I have some time under my belt. Hang in there, go to AA meetings, get a sponsor and get involved with your recovery. Find God, clean House, and help another drunk. "

" Hi Pat, good for you, I don't have as long sober, but I thank God every day for my being sober. Actually, my rewards have been feeling better, physically, mentally and emotionally and the better relationships with my husband and two daughters. I hadn't even thought about rewarding myself, but that's a good idea! I'll check back here to see what others come up with. Take care and keep up the sobriety. "
