" i am back and i am here with you. i slept with a gun at my side in a home with no power, food, water, for 3 weeks. i like to read so i read in the stifling tempertures at night with one flashlight on one shoulder and another on my other shoulder. i was able to be a beacon of sorts for those giving up. those of us who have been caught up in the grips of drugs and alcohol know it is so very easy to want to find some area, any area where we can survive and so we convince others it is indeed possible to make light out of the worst possible darkness. thank you all, my angels of mercy. i won't ever forget your kindnesses. ever. devon "
