woke up in the night and thought
" hey i may get to be an old lady one day! and be old and wrinkly, weird feeling, i always thought i would die young, but if i keep up this decision not to drink/use ,as i intend to, i could get naturally old before i die. I plan to be obnoxious when I get old!
I had a Grandfather who was a riot in his old age. He wasn't afraid of anything....no rocking chair for him. He'd ride bicycles, fix cars, get into heated philisophical discussions, start new business ventures. The list goes on. Live long, and never let up on life....that's what I say!

Oh my, what a good discussion.
I never thought of how i will be old. I want to be a granny, grey hair, glasses, fat belly and with a wee dog, my partner and grandchildren. How cool would it be if one of my grandchildren had a child. OH MY - I want a rocking chair.

Gosh, I can't wait to be a grandma some day!
However, I don't want to live to be too old. I hope to die before I start breaking hips, etc. My Mema had Alzheimers. So did my great grandmother. I'll probably get it too and won't know if I'm dead or not.

I am old... When I got sober, I was a very sad, sick and tired 25 year old; I thought that I would never live to be 30. I could not plan or even dream of being any different. But staying sober, I get to be old! And different. I am way, way different than I thought I would be. But I did think I would be smarter, if I lived, LOL. It is cool!
