I wouldn't Rich. They know what they're doing, and there's undoubtedly a reason he's postponing it. I'm SURE it will be for YOUR benefit. Please don't try and do this yourself, cause you WILL regret it, I promise you. Just be patient and let things take their course. If it has to drag on, so be it ~ it will be just that much longer that you will be able to drive!!! Best of luck, Rich. Lee

The more time you can put between the offense and the final court date, the better. In the end the DA will do just about anything just to get you off her desk. Trust your Attorney.

Your lawyer knows the court system he has a plan that has worked for him before. Your lawyer is a professional at obfuscation. He is working the system and making it hard on the people testifying in your case.

Don't do anything without your lawyer!! How did judges used to make their living? They were lawyers. When you go to court without a lawyer I promise you it ticks off the judge whether any of them will admit it or not. Your saying I don't need someone like you who spent 7 years in school to help me and it is insulting to them.

Depending on the City and State you live in, throwing yourself on the mercy of the court could be a big mistake.
At least talk to someone who has been through the same thing in the same City. AA meetings are a good source of info when it comes to this subject.

Thanks for all the advice. I just hope the lawyer knows what he is doing.
