It takes time to convince family and friends that I am truly sober. I have caused so much wreckage. Give it time mari

I was in AA for over 3 months and my wife still thought I was drinking when I went out of the house. It takes quite awhile for some to gain back TRUST in you. You know you are sober and you come first in recovery!

What's important is what u got out of the meeting. If you came back from the meeting feeling sober and serene then that's what's important. Everthing else will come in due time.
I'm glad to hear you went to a meeting, I hope u liked it.

Remember all the things you have done to give him reason to not believe you. i would just say honey I know that I have given you reason not to trust me and I don't blame you for what you think. I am doing my best to stay sober and I hope one day we can look back at this and say that was a tuff time in our marriage and I sure am glad we worked our way through it. This is just a thought on how you might handle it. By taking the resposibility for it you remave all the power and it will hurt less.
