hello,i am takeing haldol for my agorephobia i am scared of people coming in my house don't know why i lust get real nervous i shake and it is hard to pull out of it.sometimes my lips tighten too and my body jerks i am not sure if they notice but it doesn't go away i have to stress out haveing a simple conversation.add me as a fiend if you want k. I rarely leave my house and it's getting worse over time. Why is this happening?

ever since I got sick my agoraphobia got worse. I am improving with that though.

I feel the same also. Im sick of it..just started getting help. I hope I can one day live my life again.

I also suffer from this.
I lived house bound for 28 years, opening the front door is like opening jail doors, i am so scared out there.
For my homework i have to go out tomorrow, so the planning is already underway. :-(
I have gone to the places i have been asked to by my counsellor for the last 8 months......but i tick it off '?the list?' now my counsellor has realised what i do, as i have realised too.
I have not been out for 3 weeks and it is just as bad as before i went anywhere.
I now have to do it for homework and have to write about it.
I so thought going to the shopping centre(eg) was a huge challenge and was so ecstatic when i did it, i thought i would not have to do it again...i was so relieved i accomplished it, but it is not the case, the counsellor wants me to continue going out to the places i have been in the last 8 months. Just the thought is mind spinning.

I am so like you, I have sever agoraphobia and have had for what seems like forever. I get panick attacks when I have to go out. I feel sick to my stomach all the time when I go out. I don't drive so when I have to go places I have to take public transit and I have a phobia about being in crowded places as well. So when I have an appointment to go to I have to leave early. That's if I go at all!! I have cancelled appointments because of my agoraphobia. I rarely go out unless I really really have to!! My doctor put me on Clonazepam 0.5 mg's, I twice daily for the anxiety, the panic attacks. I still have the symtoms but they are to a lesser degree than before. I still have to do a lot of planning before I go anywhere but at least I go--plus going to see my therapist helps too.
