its funny but with my 3 boys i baked....ALOT!! the guys my hubby works with loved it!! they were always getting cakes, cookies, brownies etc..... with my little girl, i was soooo lazy! it was a chore to cook supper for my family, lets not even talk about washing the dishes!! lol! i always knew i was preg. by 5 weeks along with all 4 of my kiddos. makes for a loooonnnnggggg pregnancy!! lolol!! :o)

Im talking real early like 1 week. I guess the reason why I bring it up is because I think I am pregnant. I hope I am just jumping to conclusion though.

1 week is really 3 weeks. It's counted from the last period.

If you're over 3 weeks, take the test. It's not supposed to work, but I took the morning pee, which is really concentrated, stuck the pregnancy stick in it, and let it sit 20 mins (they say no longer that 5-10). I got a positive. I only tested that early cause I was convinced I was pregnant. Of course, that could be a false positive, but in my case, it was right.

Do you know if you ovulated yet? If not (and even if yes, recently), Plan B can help. Another way is to go to the OB/GYN ASAP and have an IUD put in. That works, cause the implantation is not until 4 weeks. Plus, with an IUD, you're protected next month, and the next, and the next, until you take it out. My insurance covers the IUD.

I would have been ovulating at that time.

If I were you, I'd be paging my GYN for an emergency appointment to get an IUD. (I have one, and it's the best thing since slice bread, so no skin off your back). Seriously, I think that's the only thing that can prevent a pregnancy reliably at this point. And it beats D&C and RU hands down. The procedure is unpleasant, but only lasts like 10-15 mins. But don't wait!

If you do nothing, I think your chances of getting pregnant and not miscarrying are less then 10%, but why play dice?

ps - cant remember what 'signs' I had that I was pregnant but I KNEW that I was.
Felt sick almost immediately though

My husband knew before I did. He noticed I was extra tired and hungry. He told me 1 week before I was due for a cycle. And he was right both times.

I should know for sure in a few days. I am so tired lately...but maybe its the heat!
