Hi all i have just joined , i have a daughter 14 years old who is going on 21, i have a son 17,I also work in a childrens home 12 year old to 16 year olds , which is a 8 beded unit just want to say hi to all, hopefully can get some good advice , because sometimes im at my wits ends xxxxxxxxxx

welcome, you are in the right place, there are days we are all at our wits end, teenagers are like aliens.I have a 12 yr. old girl who thinks she is 20 and a 16 yr. old boy is actually a good kid but can get an attitude. so just let us know how we can help.

Welcome. I am a teen and I get along very well with my mother. I like helping out with parents who don't have as a good a relationship with their teens as I do with my mum because we seem to have what works down pat. You could sort of say I am a goody-two-shoes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I suppose I am rather odd for a teenager but I am quite contented with the way things are. Teens can be like aliens, I must agree but I think I know their ways as I am one myself so if anyone is ever in need of some advice on how to figure out their own alien I am the human manual, at your service. I am rambling now...I am afraid that is one of my more annoying or negative traits. Anyway, I hope I can be of help and that others in this group will also.

Hi and welcome! i have a 12 yr old daughter who hormonal as she is is only half alien but son 25 is definitely sporting antanae and an occasional greenish palor and possible tail LOL Holler if ya need us!
