" My daughter who is 13 months always tries to stuff too much into her mouth at once, and often doesn't chew it enough before she tries to swallow. I have tried showing her by eating in front of her biting pieces off and chewing.
Friends seem to give their toddlers large pieces of fruit and whole grapes, but I cut grapes in quarters and sandwiches into small squares as she doesn't seem to be learning, and it is so scary when they choke. I am being too cautious? "
