When babies cut teeth, do they cut through the tippy top or the front of the gums toward the top? It looks like Nora and Colton's teeth are going to cut from the front of the gums toward the top.

" I totally get what you are saying my son is eight months old and his bottom teeth also look like that. They have not broken through but his gums are very swollen and he is cranky. My daughter has nothing and I guess will be like her older brothers both started cutting teeth around a year old. I do not remember what my older childrens teeth look like before they broke through. Just the molars because my almost 4 year old just finished cutting his 2 year ones in the spring. Happy teething to you. "

" OMG...Jordan cut her first tooth on the bottom...by the time she was 8 months old they ALL came at the same time. She cried one morning and it was like looking at a mouth full of blisters. I FELT the pain...TYLENOL, MOTRIN...Mylecon....triple coctail...it worked. Marcus was like a sail boat. He just cruized through teathing...one day he didnt have one, next day he did...no crying, no sniffles, nada!

Each baby is different, my friend. But if they are suffering, TYLENOL...and mylecon because teething increases the saliva and that can upset the tummy... "
