My baby girl will be 5mos in a few days and she is sick for the first time. She is teething also but she was spiking high temps last night. She had been fussy as well but I just thought that was the teething part but we took her to urgent care and she has an ear infections, she is really conjested, and swollen glands. ALSO she lost about 7OZ. She was 14lb 1 OZ that was almost 2 weeks ago at her 4mos check up but now she is 13LB 10OZ...My older kids never lost weight like this! She is sleeping well now so hoping she gets better soon:) She actually slept well last night too but when I woke she was burning up!

Poor baby girl :( Jasmine always drops a little weight when she's sick because she won't eat well. She's not been sick for a good while though.
I hope she feels better soon. Maybe put a cup of apple sauce in the freezer for about 10 min or so. That way it's nice and cold on her throat and easy to swallow without causing much pain. I can imagine that her throat hurts with all the congestion and ear pain. Poor thing.
