When can you expect your first period after having a vaginal birth? If you have one before your 6 week post partum doctors appointment can you use tampons or do you still have to use pads?

" It depends on if you are breastfeeding you may not get your period early. Bottle later..
I would say to use pads for the first one if it is as early as 6weeks..
My son is 4months tomorrow and I still havn't had one yet. "
