Hiccups

My baby is a premie, she was born at 35 weeks gestation. She now 2 weeks old, she has been to the doctor and was given a clean bill of health...but I have noticed that she tends to the get the hiccups atleast once a day.

My husband things it's no big deal, but I'm thinking about calling the doctor.

Has anyone else experienced their baby getting hiccups? How do you stop them, and did you contact your doctor?

Thanks!

" agreed, my kiddo gets them when I get the fun duty of burping him...I hold him at a slightly different angle than the wife does and he almost always gets hiccups and gets over them...he is only 2 weeks and they do not even seem to bother him...I would not suggest scaring him or making him hold his breath to get them to stop:) The kids will work through it:) "
