Are you breast feeding? Because that can stave off the return of AF for the whole time you breast feed. With my last child I stopped BF early and my period was back in about 2-3 months.

I feel like i've had mine forever. I bled after delivery for about 3 weeks. stopped for a few days and then started up again, now i've been bleeding since. you are looking forward to having yours again, i'm waiting to stop mine...i'm ready for a break! I can't start my birth control until after i have my next period, but it seems like that could be summertime! hang in there i'm sure you'll get regular again soon. Just remember all those hormones take forever to regulate!

I think she usually makes her return around 2-3 months PP since you arent BFing thats about when I started with my son as I recall. I was jsut gonna ask this question cause the other days I thought I felt the beginings of AF makeing her return but it turned out to be nothing, I will say that is yet another thing I do not miss about not being pregnant.. I think after pregnancy/delivery we should get a good 6 month bonus repreive from AF.

I have a question about the mini pill- I was told this was the only birth-control pill option for BFing mama's- but if you dont always get your period while BFing how do you go on it? Cant you just start taking them?

Yeah, I'm not breastfeeding at all. And I can't remember when I started again with my son, but I guess I'll give it another month or so and then go from there :)
Kegsmom- My neighbor is BFing and also on the mini-pill and since she wouldn't get her AF, the Dr. told her to just start taking it on the following SUnday.

i bled for about 3 weeks after delivery and about a week later started my period.
I was no a BFer though. It could depend to if u were at all regular before getting PG. Like blessed said...everyone is different. Personally i would be thrilled that AF was not visiting. if ur stressed or anything like that...it may be a reason as to why ur not starting...That always happens to me when i am really stressed... AF doesnt arrive on time then.

if you want your period to come back herbal treatments can help. like vitex.. it also helps with PMS symptoms =D
