" We used a cool mist for a while and nobody got any relief. We added a warm humidifier and run both now and that seems to work better. We just bought an air purifier online and are waiting for that to see if that helps. We all sit in the bathroom with the steam in the morning and at night and that seems to really help. I hope you got a couple ideas. Good luck! "

" I just went through that with Emma, she went in to coughing fits trying to clear the mucas out of her throat. It will get worse before it gets better. You may find that you are takeing the baby to the DR's every other day. They may want to make sure you little one isn't coming down with RSV. I know thats what happened to Emma. She still has part of the cough even now. I went with the cold air humidifer because from my understanding warm/hot allows bacteria to grow, cold doesn't. I hope your little one feels better soon. "

" Our doctor told us that it doesnt really matter if its cold or hot. Whatever we preferred was fine. But there are alot of days when we feel sick and stuffy from it so we have got one that is a VICs and has the vapor strips in it and it clears everything up and humidifies at the same time. Its safe for babies of any age and smells kind of nice. "
