My daughter turns 6 weeks on Monday and has been an absolute bear every day starting about 3pm to 9pm! Nothing makes her happy at all, and she wants to nurse all the time. But when I put her to breast after about 10 minutes she starts to cry between sucks then too! I'm at my wits end with her! Any advice?

" Colic? I know it starts up around that time. I am sorry I don't have any more advice then that. My son wasn't colicy but when he did get fussy and NOTHING else would work we would take him for a car ride, quited him down every time! Good Luck! "

" My son was had colic which started at 3 weeks and lasted until he was 4 months. It was the most isolating time of my life. I would go to stores and they would open lines so we would leave. I used the static noise and sounds of the womd from the happiest baby on the block DVD. I ahve since met people who also had colicky babies and they suggested the vacuum cleaner and putting the baby on the top of the dryer in the car seat. "

" My baby is 10 weeks and he started this crazy fussiness only during feedings at 6 weeks old. At first everything I read was pointing to colic. I decided to take my son in for a check up just in case and the Dr thought it also might be Acid Reflux. So far he has been on two different types of medication and the second medication has slightly eased things, but he is still out of control during feedings. We are taking him to see a GI specialist this week. "

" my baby had reflux and also ended up allergic to cow milk protein even from my breast milk. i stopped eating milk along with veggies that may cause gas like broccoli and onions. after getting her on the right meds and adjusting my diet she got alot better.

she started getting fussy again but she is much older now turns out she has a candidia infection causing her to get constipated n gassy she seems to be haveing trouble metabolizing either iron or protien.... going to go to a naturapath n get her treated cus the pead only gave her the lactalose to soften her stool but it seems like that may cause more problems if she has candidia who knows will go ask the naturapath.

but i have started her on a probiotic cus the acid reflux meds kill off the good bacteria in the gut. "
