TRAFFIC LIGHT/ANIMAL STRESS MONITORS
Sometimes we feel a little stressed or out of our depth, the idea with this is to be able to recognise stress levels and how to deal with situations, the Autism society suggests traffic lights (green is good and so on) but I wonder whether my boys will be able to work from the colours, it may take a while to remember and attach the colour to the meaning.

I'm home having lunch. Jesse is demanding I go to him to listen to him read and I'm telling him to come to me, to pull up a chair and sit beside me. Brooke is on the (u guessed it..) trampoline, her favourite thing! I took a later break from work so the kids will be less likely to be on their own for a long time. Matt may finish late and Thurs I'm on till 7pm.

I have still not managed to get the things that I need done, finished! Infact, I believe now my washer is tearing up. Well a few months has gone by...have been going through so much stress...
My uncle has been put into a nursing home since was not able to hold down anyfood after being in the hospital for dehydration, pnuemonia, seizures, severe upper respiratory infection, then his pancreas was not breaking down the insulin right, and then had gall bladder surgery. Today has been a good day. It all started with a great group session, we are all making a lot of progress getting to know each other and trust each other. On the way back I picked up my new lawn mower; self propelled electronic start mulcher side discharge and bagger. Everybody has down periods from time to time even somebody working on developing a positive attitude like me. The key thing is that there for you when you are up against it.
