I can't belive it, I am such a proud mother today. :) I had to share!!!

My oldest daughter has always struggled in school, especially with math and reading. She has a learning disadvantage(she has APD, audio processing disorder, which basically means she needs visual cues to understand things). Well, she is graduating from the 8th grade next week, and her teacher announced this morning who the validictorian and saluditorian is. And, My daughter is the saluditorian!!!!!!! I am so proud of her, she has accomplished so much this year. Almost maintained an A average in math all year long, and has only been ineligible once this year.

I was so happy for her this morning I cried. LOL

" Congratulations - to both of you!! I can only imagine the emotions of joy and pride felt for your daughter in her moment of glory. And to the Salutatorian ... may all you've learned and accomplished give you the confidence to be all you can be. And one final thought: A well-rounded, competent student masters concepts in math and reads everyday. Good luck to you! Lynne "
