I do breastfeed and was wandering when I can expect my first period again. Will I not get one while I am breastfeeding?

" It can return anytime. With my first baby, I got my period back at about 2 months postpartum, but I'm at almost 5 months w/ my current baby w/ no period still - I don't miss it! "

" It varies generally if you BF it doesn't come back as soon. With my first son he was about 4 mos and it was real irregular. He also did get some formula. Then with my second child she was almost 12mos. Now my baby is 2 mos and I am trying to figure out if my has returned or not!! LOL I think it has but its super light and doesn't feel like a period at all....I figured it would not come back so soon seeing asd I exclusively BF but everyone is different. "
