What kind of bottles do you use and why?

I have been trying diff bottles and have yet to find one that helps Emily with gas, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, does anyone have any reccomendations? I have spend literally $100 in the last 3 weeks on bottles, I've bought a kid of the platex ventaires, the nuk version of the ventaire, I've done the dr.browns, and the soothies, Today I bought the old school playtex natural nurser's with the drop-in liner,I've heard these help the best with gas, My doc wants me to make sure it's not her bottles that are making her fussy before we switch her formula again. I hear a lot of positive things about the avents but they don't even carry those anywhere that I have looked, and I've heard they are much more expensive, and obviously if they don't have them where I live or shop they aren't going to be a very good choice for us, I need advice!

" I'm using Platex Dropins now, but I used Avent in the past as well. I like both. They should have Avent at Target or Walmart. Good luck! "

" Dr. Brown's is the only way we go. We tried the Advent, but not much success with gas and burping. Don't know the cost though. "

" We use the Avent ones as well, they sell them at Target and are pretty reasonable. They actually say they are made to help with gas and our ped seemed to agree. He loves them, rarely spits up, and is managing his gas better everyday, mylicon always helps too! "

" I agree, we tried ventaire and dr brown before going to avent they are in my opinion the best. They are about the same price as the ventaire and dr browns. ($11 for 3) If they don't sell them in your area perhaps you could try online. Good Luck either way! "

" we started with avent then i tried dr browns and she wouldn't take it at all. we are still using avent but i have to be careful that the nipple holes are not too big or too small with both results in extra air. she usually needs to burp a couple times after. our little one just started baby zantac so we are waiting to see if it helps. " I have always used the Playtex drop ins. I find that they are good with gas becuase no air needs to get into the milk.
Are you shaking the milk before you give it to her? Maybe little air bubbles in the liquid bother her...try letting it sit for awhile in the bottle before you give it to her to let it settle. "
