I don't think it should hurt I did research it a little and I read that there might be some cramping but that was all. They must be pushing IUD's these days because my ob/gyn suggested a IUD too. However she didn't realize that I plan to start ttc again in 8mos. Either way.... good luck with it I am sure it will go smoothly! :)

I don't think it will.
I'm sure you will have some discomfort and slight/moderate cramping afterwords. Just relax and you will be alright. :)

I had this type og birth control and it worked great for me maura

I got it and all I had was moderate cramping. Not bad till I left the OB/gyn. The cramping got quite a bit worse but advil took care of it. Still cramping today but not as bad

id get one but those have hormones on them nowadays dont they? fake hormones make me even nuttier than usual.

i got my iud in right now just when i get my period tomrrow its abit more barely cramping during my periods it hurts the first day and then when it gets to a second im fine. but it does hurt when theya re puting u in depends how healed u are for me i was healed but i poped open my stitches and got them looked at but then was taking things so it wouldnt get them infected and then ever since i healed it hurts to have sex or feels like something or maybe a muscle in my bottom was ripped and never healed cause my baby girl was 9 pounds 13 ounces and 22 inches long

after reading about the cramping and hormones i dont think im getting my on tuesday
