Yes it does when it is untreated, although mine was caught in time and I never lost weight.

Yes, unfortunately my husband is excruciatingly thin... we didn't catch his before the weight loss, in fact, he is just starting his medication today... so im hoping that he will be able to gain it all back very soon...

I am a secondary adrenal failure, Addison's. I initially gained weight and then I am super thin now. I went from 178 pounds to 100 pounds and I fight it all the time. The endocrinologists do say treated Addison's sould not cause weight loss any more. I disagree.
