Hi,

I was diagnosed with acromegaly in april of 2007 and had surgery in may 2007.. I felt alot better the first few months but symptoms started to reapear and i have blood test about every two months.. Blood tests are normal since surgery but i've had an MRI just two months ago and when my surgeon saw the MRI, he confirmed to me that part of the tumor is still there.. My endocrinologist told me that i'm cured..I know it's not the case..
Does anyone have the same story since surgery?

" I think jokey is right, this disease is sneaky, you have to keep on top all the time with it, maybe its just going to take time for everything to settle, the body has been through so much, I was told that Fexeril was very good to take all the muscle tension away, you could ask your doc, hope this helps, also I think this disease does leave problems, I suppose it audipends on how long you have had it, before diagnosis. Hope this helps "

" Hi everyone,

Seems odd to have your symtoms coming back if your IGF-1/GH are normal. Where is that inoperable part of tumour? Maybe it´s rather a neurological structure problem? "
