I love your profile picture of that large egg I can look and I cant eat it.My big problem is sweet things and For me with acromegaly its not a good idea.I am a piglet where sweet things are.I cant do small amounts.I been quite good.I think theres a couple of members on here who are as weak as me when it comes to sweet stuff.Please would someone who is strong check in on me I have no secret stash I ate all that yesterday oh so naughty.I have none in the house.Please will someone keep an eye on me I need a choccy police friend anyone want the job its your chance to kick me LOL JJx

Hi,
Just read your post jokey, I was wondering if anyone else has problems with sweet things and Acromegaly, does sugar and bad carbs make the pain worse, would love some feed back on this one please,

The sweets are my weakness and they do make me feel terrible. I binged on double-stuffed oreos last week and had gained 3 lbs the next morning...UGH!!!

mmmmm oreo's. see you got me too now!! im so bad with chocolate. i do get my headaches worse when i eat a lot of it. i suppose its the good and bad karma thing..lol
i suppose jokey i could be of help,being a few miles away i could come and inspect the hideaways, but i think i might have trouble then not eating the secret stash!!!

thanks for this post, I still have some goodies in the house but since I wrote my goal 2 days ago I have not bought new ones. Of course I have avoided going to the store. I can't believe that someone else OD on double stuffed oreaos last week that is exactly what I did. 2 Packages!!!! Hmmm this is intersting that we are all drawn to sweet stuff. Also for the past 2 weeks it seems my heartburn is worse so even though I take meds I think the doc is goin gto have me take a test to find out more what's going on. Anyway thanks J I think at least talking about this might help reduce the temptation.....mctrjt
