I just got a call from my doctor, my IGF-I was normal but my HGH was just a bit high. My Dr. wants me to go back and have another blood test for IGF-I, HGH, and Prolactin she thinks my prolactin may be causing the HGH to be a little high. Has anyone had this problem? She said the level is not to high for me to get upset about but she wants to watch it. I am the only case she has seen of acromegaly in her 20 years as a Dr.My last MRI showed no tumor was left, just a few weeks ago.Any comments?

Hi all
Thanks for the information about TMJ and TMD, we went to endo yesterday, and he was quite good, said cholestral levels have dropped from 7.9 to 5.9 in 2 months which indicates the medication is working, needs to have day curve, which is being done next week, so will have to wait for true result, also sending us to a Dental specialist, since being back at work and on the computer,eyesight been a bit hazy, so also having visual fields done next week,my eyesight has changed nearly every 6 months since my teens, but when I had 10months off, and away from the computer, they never changed at all, now back at the computer, here we go agin, sorry for rambling, Your posts were very helpful, thank God for this site Take care

Hi Mish, yes I know what you mean about the endo, as you know we live on an island and hes the only one here, but we also go over to Barts and we can phone when we are not happy, due to go in July, but if I think things arent going well, will fly out,just hope levels look good nect week, will have to go from there really, if they are not going down, will have to get to Barts, Thanks again, How are you doing? im still getting mixed up sometimes on this site,im not very good on the computer, Take care
