I think i have this after doing some onlien research and i am ashamed of it and hate the way it looks. I wish i could just stop :(

I have an appointment with Dermatologist tomorrow, a follow up from the last time when she gave me Lymecycline/Tetralysal 300 and to carry on using the Differin/Adapalene creme.. and after 2 months well it's had no improvement, infact it got a lot worse.

From the researching too.. i foudn that skin picking is also an OCD and that maybe a drug to control OCD would help.. i do seem to have a lot of anxiety and nervous feelings..

What do you think? anyone have the same problem?

Thanks in advance

" Just got back from seeing him and he's increased my antiobiotics (Lymecycline) to twice a day and also i have to use Fucidin-H.. it's a mild steroid cream.. not used for most acne, but because mine is inflamed and stuff, he said it should work. From what i've found on the net, it's used a lot on eczema. So we'll see how it goes. "

" I pick like crazy. I have for 11-12 years. I didn't find that my anxiety meds made a difference. The only time I don't pick is when I'm around people a lot...

Try carrying something in your pocket (or a bracelet or necklace with a charm) and instead of picking your face, play with that item. It helps sometimes, as long as you realize that you're going to pick. "
