Religious reasons? Teen Pregnancy/STD prevention? I would really like to know everyone's reason for being abstinent. Myself, I just want to wait till I am truly ready, no religious reasons involved. (Though I do admire those with strong faith) Posted on 06/26/08, 04:06 pm |

Not a religious reason. I want to wait until I'm married because at this point, I'm much old btw, I don't see the point to just expose myself to people who aren't serious about me. I don't want to develop an attachment to the wrong person and I choose to draw the line there.

im here because i have a strong christian belief and i want to stay pure because i am so scared to end up pregnant or have an STD. im only 17, my parents didnt have sex until they married eachother, and my dad isnt religious at all, thats jusst how it was, and i believe it should still be that way=]

I'm here because I have a strong christian belief and I know that down the road I don't want to have the memories of other women. I just want the memories of my wife. I know that someday I will get in a fight with my future wife and I won't be able to say, "your bad in bed" becuase I don't really have anyone to compair it too. I also work in the medical field and I know how bad STDs are and the full proof method to not get them is to not have sex.
