I don't see why not... some of the medications they have available right now seem more harmful than smoking a joint (in my opinion)

According to Edward Hallowell MD, in Answers to Distraction, "Without a doubt, marijuana is the most dangerous substance of addiaction for ADD/ADHD adolescents. It's effects are so compelling for the ADD brain that it seems to become immediately physchologically addictive." (Edward M. Hallowell, M.D, Answers to Distraction, 1994)

I wouldn't think so. Whenever I do it, it kills my inhibition and I become very obviously ADHD and want to do everything. I become very motivated, whereas everyone else just wants to chill. It just helps me to be unaware of how annoying I can be.

Its the only time when I actually slow down... it slows me down so much I go from super sonic energy to half drowsy and ready for bed... Im surprised it gave you more motivation Rodent.... you would think that getting a substance that stimulates would help to satisfy a busy ADD ADHD mind and cause peace...

I think it depends of the type of weed you smoke.
Marijuana strains are often a cross of Sativa and Indica to give properties of each i.e. to make certain Sativa smaller and more potent, or an Indica larger and with bigger buds. As far as the high is concerned, Sativas will tend to produce more of a cerebral, energetic or giggly high, while Indicas produce more of a body stoned, known to enhance physical aspects such as sound and taste and can also have a relaxing effect."

a substance that stimulates?? Everyone I've ever seen on it is like...you know...majorly chilled? Vegged? Isn't this the stereotype? People lounging about, not moving, talking slower and going "woah" a lot? THC isn't a stimulant anyway, so I don't know what you're saying. Am I crazy? I'm confused enough already. Am I supposed to act differently??? HELP!

i dont think pot is very helpful, i think it can really change a person into someone thier loved ones dont recognise, and it screws up your goals in life. it might feel good short term, but in the long run i dont think it should be a treatment option

Welll, if nothing else--it's certainly real bad for your lungs (unless you make tea out of it--I tried that once).
