I have so many other disorders that are fighting for attention. My mind is mush anyway. I can't get organized. They increase and increase my Adderall and eventually it doesn't work again. I'm just so frustrated. I give up!
I just worry about my son who is in middle school, he can't give up yet. When they came out with that new ADHD med. that was suppose to be the best thing since sliced bread, he started hallucinating with it. Some of his friends at school did also.
I try to tell him that we are special because we can multitask, but the truth is I wish my brain would shut up every now and again.

" What meds has your son tried? Really do feel for you my son use to say the same why won't my brain shut up. Luckily meds worked for him he had concerta slow release capsuale. Hope you get something sorted x "

" I tried different meds for 13-years to treat anxiety/depression/ADD. I now exercise and am trying a supplement called 5-HTP. I wish I could give some better advice, but I wish someone would have told me years ago that meds might never work.... "
