I am starting to believe the reason I have a poor memory might not be directly due to memory loss, but, rather, it seems that ADD prevents an adequate "layer" of memory to be laid down. In other words, the memory data is prevented from entering the brain correctly due to the interference from ADD. I believe this because sometimes my memory is very good. Having a sporadically poor memory seems like something is interfering with the memory process....In short, has anyone found any drugs (supplements) that help with memory? I have tried fish oil (Omegas), and it seems to work some, but I would like to find something more substantial. Has anyone tried Ginkgo Biloba? I have read mixed reviews on it....Thanks

i have never used herbal rememdies, but i have found that limiting processed sugar, and eating lots of protien throughout the day improves function, i don't get as "tired" and therefore i can stay a little more focused.
