So I went to my normal doc to discuss temporary treatment for the ADHD and Anxiety until I get diagnosed. She called my psych and he said the anxiety could be a symptom of ADHD and to try me on Strattera. She said if it doesnt help me, to call tomorrow and she will try me on something else and klonopin.
The strattera (25mg) made me sicker than a dog!! I refuse to take anything else!! So will the other meds make me sick like this too? My stomach aches badley (and yes I ate) and I feel as though if I dont sit still I will vomit. I hope there is a medication out there that does not do this to me. Anyone else? Everyone is different some can take stimulants and some can't well my children are on stimulants and they are working well for all three of them the oldest is on dexidrine and the other two are on adderall xr and we have had no side affects except one doesn't seem to eat as much but that could also be summer heat causeing the not eating! So good luck don't give up yet i start meds next week and i am a little nervouse but i know i need them( i have ADHD combined type found out a couple of weeks ago).

i didnt like strattera either..... i am taking ritilin now and i like it much better.....
between that and my ant anxiety im feeling good... good luck sweetie.... nuking futs.(((LOL)))that is hysterical.....
