my daughter is getting ready to start vyvan. (not spelled right I know) does anyone have a child on this?

I am sorry, I don't have a child on this. From what I understand, it is a time released kind of adderal and or ritilin. I am sure there have been other posts on this topic. You may want to look around a bit. I am sure someone will be along to answer your question however.

My 10 year old has been Vyvance for almost 1 year. He has done very well on it. It is 1 of the 2 ingrediants that make up Adderal.so yes it is a derivative of adderal not Ritalin. It has a smoothness about it that nothing else we have tried had. No rebound lasts a full 11-12 hours,and minimal side effects.
