sometimes i have that, but i think that we all have days that we don't want to cuddle. but since i am on meds i am more cuddly then ever, i guess i am more relaxed instead my mind going a hundred mile an hour.
i fought for years to get on meds and finally i gave in and i feel great.

A womans body is so complicated. And men are so physically/sexually focused. I do not have ADD but have other issues that makes my desires/affections come and go. (I grew up with a brother with ADHD) A womans cycle will affect your 'cuddliness' as will stress and sleep/or lack of. Exercise also affects hormone balance (too much or too little) So... my point is to not dwell on this.
While you and your husband may not be on the same wavelength as far as the same amount of affection. When you are affectionate is it comfortable/satisfying.

Don't let this drive you crazy. Dont rush into any decision. ADD is manageble and there are many different ways to accomplish this.

i have adhd and i find it hard to cuddle but i have alo been molested reapedely so that could cause it too and this is not a stupid question

Thank you all so much it is nice to know i am not alone when it comes to this my hubby is very understanding (he does get fustrated once in a while but not offten) thank goodness but i get mad at myself for it because i want to cuddle and be intamit with him and i love him more than anything else in this world (well except the kids) and it seems like when it is time my brain goes into overdrive and i am thinking about everything and anything except what i should be thinking about and that really ruines the mood or we go to cuddle and i just want to go go go and do something not sit just do something and i think sometimes it hurts his feeling! I am just so fustrated!! Thanks again all for your help!

So nice to hear other ADHD people have problems with intimacy and affection at times.

My wife has commented many times that I am less loving or don't respond to her cuddles at times.

I don't think she or you're mate are wanting to have sex every time.

Just some cuddles and reassurance of our love.

At times it is like my emotions are playing hide and seek.

Other times I have no difficulty responding to a sensative moment.

The stimulant medication has improved my attention to sensative moments with my wife and I am more responsive.

Why does this happens? I have absolutely no idea.

I was realy never a cuddling kind of person. When I found out I had ADHD it explained alot. At least I know why I don't like to cuddle.

rejected as a child,ive been more open since i knew what the word /feeling was.
sad,yet beautiful when i can be open for my responsive nature...im talkin hugs,.
was never shown as a child....i grew up too quick!!!but i do remember when i was young,vowing to show affection ,no matter what situ...now my kids will follow suit.,their children will grow up with 'love'.
