My doctor wanted to give me 10mg to start, but I was afraid to take it and asked him if I could take 5 mg. So, I broke the pill in half, then finally started taking the full 5 mg. I noticed I had more energy and got more done. Is that possible on 5 mg or is it just a placebo effect.
I wasn't sure, so I started taking 10 mg and I feel more tired and out of it then when taking just 5 mg. Should I go back to 5 or try 15 mg. Thanks so much for any info you can give me. Posted on 07/05/08, 12:07 pm |

Actually I forgot to mention I started feeling benefits after taking just 2.5 mgs. Please someone let me know if this is possible or if it's just me wanting so much for this to work. Thank you.

If you were having good effects with just 5mg, then I would stick with that.
If the good effects begin to wear off later on, then you can always increase the dosage at that time.

Hi,
Thanks for responding. I dropped my dose back down to 5mg since I was feeling so crappy. Although I started feeling good, these last few days have been hard. I have not slept, I have a headache and feel shaky and sick to my stomach. I thought maybe it was because I had raised my dose to 10 mg. but when I couldn't sleep, didn't take my last dose and dropped my other two back down to 5mg. I wonder if this could be some type of withdrawal.

If you feel fine a five then leave it at five. I wouldnt experiment with it. Once it STOPS working then increase it but give it a few days before you decide that its not working because you could be just having a bad day.
