I beleive my daughter has become a different since we began using vyvance....she is VERY irritable and extremely sassy...I have never joined a support group and "blogging" is not something I have ever considered....I simply feel I must gather information on children taking this medicine because my household is struggling due to emotional outbreaks and constant griping and back talking. Can anybody offer anything to support or have opinions. prior to taking vyvance, she had taken adderal for about 2 years.

" why did they chance med? you might want to talk to the doctor becuz it is a side effect, being irritable, did the pharmacy give you a info sheet with the med, or you can call the pharmacy up too and ask about it.
good luck "

" My son is on Vyvance and was and still is irritable and grouchy some of the time. he has been on for 6 months and this is the best thing we have found so far. You can't have perfection, but it is worth telling the doc? IMO yes. "

" It sounds like some of her ADD symptoms are slipping through the drug. She might not be on a high enough dosage.

I take Vyvanse and compared to all the others, it is the best by far. I like that it lasts 12 hours and fewer side effects.

I'm not sure the vyvanse is causing her behavior or not. "
