I've heard some people say (and I tend to agree) that the disciple and apostle (I think he was both) Peter very likely had ADHD. He certainly was impulsive and stuck his foot in his mouth a lot.

I like SuzyG2's idea that perhaps Peter was ADHD. I'm sure that each one of the original Twelve Disciples had a "Disorder/Character Flaw/Etc" that we can identify with. Come to think of it, when people asked Jesus to explain something to them he would usually "shift focus", tell a story about something else, and usually have the person confused about what he meant. Sound familiar?????

Peter has always been the disciple in the Bible that I have identified with, I mean who in their right minds says if that's you Lord then tell me to come to you when there is a mass of water between the two of you. Then when he is told to come he does it and realises what he has done half way across lol
