I'm really confused, I can't sit still, i'm very impulsive and get hyper for no reason, even when i'm doing something I enjoy I have to get up and walk round for no reason, everyone tells me i'm strange coz i like to dance or run or walk round for no reason.
However I can sit for hours sewing or reading sometimes, esp the sewing. Please help, I don't want to go to my doctor for him just to tell me i'm imagining things again. I'm suffering from anxiety atm so it's worse, but this has been going on my entire life! xxx Posted on 11/28/07, 09:11 am |

hey chicky im not stalkin you! just quickly saw your post....hmmm yes these can be traits, a lot of my family are like this. but you CAN get these symptoms from just anxiety and having an active mind etc.
but as i said have a look into it further. its nice to know we arent loony and things are understood better. it will give you the peace of mind you need - do you have dyslexia features as well? i dunno why but the music thing just made me think of it.

You have a lot of symptoms I have. If I find something very interesting I can spend a lot of time on that but for the most part I cannot spend any time on anything. I use to se Diet Mountain Dew to calm me down. My doctor told me this is all normal ADHD behavior and put me on ritalin twice a day and it I think it is helping. I would find a different doctor, one that would listen to you.

thanks guys, I don't know, i may be dyslexic, I can't spell for one but no-ones ever really even considered the idea!!! I thought about the anxiety thing, but up until a few months ago I was the complete opposite of anxious, it never even entered my head I wasn't immortal (figurativly speaking, if u get what I mean!) and I've been like this all my life, I just assumed I was strange like everyone said!
