I have ADHD and now i am bipolar. i can control my ADHD but i cant control my ADHD and Bipolar cuz they are out of control.

I can definately feel your pain! I cannot treat my ADHD because I must treat my Bipolar first and foremost. The meds I tried at the end of last year for ADHD triggered a manic episode during Christmas. It was sad. My psychiatrist won't try me on anything else for that. Lately I have started reading up on dietary and nutritional treatment. Brain food and I tried fish oil but it didn't agree with me physically or something. Good luck to you and finding stability.

I had a psychartrist who kept insisting I take Ritilan for my ADD, and it only cranked me up. I finally changed Drs and the one I have now diagnoised me as bipolar as well as ADD. I'm currently on Strattera which isnt an upper, and while its not the end all of cures, it helps. My biggest regret is that I wasnt diagnoised as BP untill I was 48. Now things make more sense - I understand why I was so irratic and I can do something about it.
